Born For Transformation

"You were born for such a time as this." says IONS President James O'Dea, who also remarks that center of the Universe is the center of our consciousness: “In a conscious universe the center is everywhere and the center of the center is your awareness.”  Scientifically, we are beginning to prove that we create our own reality. New sciences increasingly show that we are integral to a pulsating, consciously creative universe. To become purposeful, effective, and intentional in co-creation, we must understand transformation. That is why James O'Dea, is joining us to go deeply with you in this intensive retreat.

Many of us feel helpless, stretched and overwhelmed amid what is chaotically shifting all around us. We are called to hospice a world that currently cries for environmental sustainability, social justice, and spiritual fulfillment. As co-creators, we are capable of so much more. How do we find the center of ourselves? How do we draw on the creativity of transition to find our deepest values? Troubling times obscure how to be true to ourselves.

To be responsible to ourselves and others in a world clearly in transformation means learning how to work with a larger emerging story. Like the unfolding universe there is an intelligent order that is beneath change. When everything is in flux, there is a way you can work with what is emerging to find yourself fully present within it. You can find it within the conscious use of space. You can learn to gently spiral forward through your own evolution, aware of how your thoughts and actions at the subtlest level influence your story and the greater cosmology.

In the Conscious Universe: Personal and Collective Transformation Intensive (1/31-2/0208). James, Patrick and I will create experiences so you can find yourself within a context of emergence. We will play, connect, celebrate our collective transformation and intentionally enliven the field of group consciousness to stimulate the creative impulse of your own deep unconscious. Using hypnotherapy, breathwork, the mind body connection, and group process, you will safely become familiar with a sense of place within the process of change.

Learn how to co-create a new story with a natural creative process of contraction and expansion that heals right down to the very cellular level. You will become aware of the ways that you personally contract and hold onto patterns that keep your purpose hidden, and your own destructive elements in place. You will learn to release them to shape a new guiding story for yourself which dynamically relates to everything. You will learn to consciously and intentionally apply the tools of attention and intention and the values of where you care.

The laws of creation are naturally available to you. Resources will emerge to center within change so that you can offer your story to the larger story of humanity. You will learn about them. Transform where you are blocked and create a personal sense from which you thrive. This is the moment to apply what is noetically within you. Through the exploration of your story, you will become one of the guiding stars in the new universe story. You are born for such a time!

An experiential Introductory evening ($10) in Portland, Oregon is open to the public on 1/31/08 followed by 2-12 hour days of care full experiential inner work. Event is open to public and professionals. CEU's are available for most health care professionals.
